Pumpkin is a reserved 6 year old feline who would be a great companion for an older person..  She was surrendered by a senior owner who could no longer care for her.  Pumpkin follows her foster around and sleeps at her side every night.  She climbs onto her foster's lap however does not like to be picked up.  She responds to gentle rubs on the back.  She comes running when her foster mom comes in the front door. She is near her foster most of the time keeping tabs on her. She would not be good with kids.  Pumpkin will need a single cat household and does need a quiet home. She is a loyal companion to her foster.

She would need a little time to warm up.  Her anxiety makes her sensitive to noises and new situations. So she has not shown well in the past.  She buries herself under blankets at adoption events. Won't you give her a chance?  She will blossom for you we are sure.

Adoption fee is $100.  Pumpkin has been spayed and microchipped. She is current with her shots.

Come Meet Our Pets...

At this time the guests in our shelter are available to be seen through appointment only. Please contact us to schedule a meet and greet.

Our adoption events are held at the St.Ann PetCo.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting a pet from us we first require an adoption application filled out. Once the application is submitted one of our adoption counselors will contact you to set up a formal meet and greet. If the decision is made that it is a good fit between you and the pet we will then set up a home visit. Often times the meet and greet and home visit can be done at the same time for your convenience.
Our adoption fee for dogs is $150.00. This covers our costs for vet services. When adopting a pet from us the pet will be spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, micro chipped and tested for internal parasites and other disease such as heart-worms and FeLuke and FIV. We accept the adoption fee and a formal adoption contract when the pet is turned over to you. Should the pet not work out in your home or should a life changing event happen and you are no longer able to keep the pet we ask that the pet be returned to us or that we are notified of new ownership. We will always take our pets back, however, the fee is non refundable.
