My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dashing Leroy Wants to Be Your Best Friend
The handsome and amazing Leroy wants to be your best friend and constant companion. Leroy is one of the Florence Dozen dogs that we rescued in May. There were 12 dogs in one home! Their owner passed away, and we took in the entire pack.
Leroy is about 3-4 years old and is just a really sweet, friendly guy. He is potty trained, but doesn’t have a lot of leash training or commands under his belt yet. Keep in mind that these 12 dogs never left their previous home, so everything is new to them.
Leroy suffers from separation anxiety, so he’ll need to go to a patient family that will be home most of the time and can work with him to help him overcome his fear of being alone.
The best thing about Leroy is that he LOVES attention. All 12 dogs are incredibly social with all people and they get along very well with all other dogs, after having lived in a large pack. They have all seemed fine with children as well.
We believe Leroy will make a great indoor family pet. As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application!
All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many of our volunteers juggle family, and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
