Lemon Drop's Story...
My name is Lemon Drop and I am a Fox Terrier/Chihuahua mix born on March 17, 2016. I am from El Centro where my mom was found pregnant in a water ditch. She was rescued with another dog and gave birth to me. We were brought to San Diego to find new families. I am told that I am very smart- I'm doing well with potty training and have a natural curiosity. I'm spunky and have good self esteem with an adventurous spirit. I can often be found exploring the area with one of my foster dog friends right by my side. Cuddling and playing are two of my favorite pastimes. I would like a home that would keep me busy and teach my tricks, and would do well with children or dog companions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lemon Drop, a San Diego Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Fox Terrier (Smooth)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
