Hi, My name is Kali!

If you are looking for the best darn family dog in Greenville, SC, I would very much love to apply for the position. I am an absolutely wonderful girl. I am just 10 years young, very healthy, spayed, up to date on my shots and perfectly house broken. I am very polite and absolutely love children. I get along really well with other dogs, and cats, too.

I am a purebred Jack Russell Terrier with a smooth short tri-color coat. My owner has been rather liberal with my “Beggin Strips”, so I currently weigh 18 pounds, but I carry it well. I am a very loyal, loving, playful and good natured girl. I am so gentle and devoted with children. I love to go for rides in the car, and like to be involved in whatever you are doing.

I’m a low maintenance dog with a lot to offer a loving family. My owner loves me a lot, and is devastated to have to find me a new home. He received an amazing job offer with Disney in China, and simply cannot take me with him. He is hoping to find me a very loving home with a family who will cherish me as much as he does.

My ideal family will be a single, couple or family with kids. I am hoping to find dog lovers with lots of time to give me the affection, attention and exercise I need and very much deserve. I would love a securely fenced yard, and even some canine or feline friends to hang out with.

Please offer me a loving, forever home today. I can’t wait to wiggle my way into your heart.

Please call Debbie toll free at (888) 720-3322 for more information about meeting and adopting me. You can meet me by filling out the form below. Once received, my owner will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time for us to get together!

Adoption Fee will be waived for the right family. All supplies will be included.

About Greenville Find My Pet A Home

About Our Rescue Group...

In many locations throughout South Carolina, shelters are rescues are filled to capacity, leaving pet owners who can no longer care for their pet with nowhere to turn. Many pets are needlessly being euthanized.

Being placed in a shelter is a very stressful experience for all pets - and the experience is devastating for their owners. We offer a very good alternative, allowing pets to stay in the loving care of their owners while a new home is located for them.

We have helped many Greenville pet owners in need to place their pet in a home where they have great peace of mind in knowing that their pet is being cherished, well cared for and kept safe, happy and healthy.

Come Meet Our Pets...

In most instances, our pets stay with their owners until a new home can be located. There are some situations which require a more urgent placement, and in these instances, we look for loving foster homes to care for these pets until a permanent home can be located.

Our Adoption Process...

When a pet is placed with our organization, our staff create a very honest and compelling adoption story about the pet, using the information provided to us.

We then spread the word about this pet's need for a new home through a wide variety of online services, and through local outreach to pet related businesses and organizations in the Greenville area.

Interested parties are directed to fill out a formal request to meet a pet, providing in-depth information about themselves.

Before a potential adopter is introduced to a pet, we do careful reference screening and a criminal records check.

Should the pet's owner and the adoptive party agree to an adoption, a formal agreement is entered into, requiring the new owner to agree to keep in touch, ensure the pet's physical and emotional well-being, and provide a safe, happy and healthy home.

Adopters are required to agree that they will not surrender the pet to a shelter or give away the pet - but rather they are to contact our organization so that we can find another suitable home, in the event that they are unable to fulfill their commitment.

The owners deliver the pet to the new owners, so that they can do a home inspection prior to leaving the pet in the new owner's care.

Our organization provides follow-up services, contacting the new owners after the first week, and then every 45 days for the first nine months post-adoption. This helps ensure the pet is being well cared for, and that the new owners have any support they need in adjusting to life with their new companion,
