Lovely Skyler has been groomed and vetted and is feeling much better now! The groomer had to shave off her beautiful coat, but it is growing back quickly. Our volunteers have totally fallen in love with Skyler! They say she is a very special girl. She walks nicely on a leash, sits and shakes, give wonderful kisses! She adores people and greets everyone, wanting to be petted and rolling over for belly rubs. She paws you if you stop petting her, to convince you to give keep petting!
Skyler gets along fine with other dogs, but is very people oriented. She follows her people everywhere and is always right by their side. She is mellow and relaxed in the house and likes to cuddle. She will chase the cats in her foster home and whines when they are out of reach, but she may be able to be trained to live with cats, as she just seems overly curious.
Sweet Skyler can’t wait to find her forever home!
