Kemp's Story...
Blue Tick Caroline (aka Kemp) ~ 2 yrs old ~ 29 lb ~ fostered in Fredricksburg, VA ~
Kemp, as his foster mom calls him, is an exuberant beagle who just arrived in his foster home from a rural shelter. He is very friendly and wants to play with anything he can find to play with him - including humans and his beagle housemates! He is an active beagle who would love to have a yard to run around in. He is getting used to the good life of being an inside dog and is working on his house manners.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kemp, a Waldorf Beagle/Bluetick Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle/Bluetick Coonhound dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Beagle/Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
