Sweet Shorty needs help and soon! He was found wandering the woods of northern NJ when a good Samaritan found him and brought him to a local vet. From there he went into the hands of the local shelter.
Shorty is about 5 years old and under the care of a trainer at the shelter. She tells me that he is a good boy but because he doesn't do well behind bars the shelter may have to make a decision about his future soon. She has 100% faith in him and will offer two training sessions to the family who will adopt him.
Shorty is good with all other dogs. He seems to want to chase cats, but in a friendly "I want to get to know you way". He is good around kids, but recommend older kids only (8+).
Looking for ANY WAY to get this boy out from behind bars...a foster, rescue or adopter. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you think you can help. SHORTY NEEDS YOU!!
