Hi I am Flygone! I am a male Great Swiss mountain dog hound mix. I am not going to get very big maybe about 45lbs at the most. I am very friendly and love people. I know sit, stay, down, come. I am house trained and crate trained. I do get along with dogs and cats. I struggle a bit with dogs when people are around I like to think that I decide who gets pets and who doesn't. This is something that foster mom is working on. She is teaching me I do not control the humans homes. I have a lot of energy and need my daily exercise not just romping around in the yard I need a good walk or run. Foster mom says I am a very sweet boy but very strong willed. I need an experienced family who has the patience and endurance to continue my training and who will help continue teaching me to be calm, gentle and respectful. I keep foster mom on her toes she tells me all the time that she has to be more stubborn than me and consistent. She says when she is I shine. She says I am a little stinker because I will take a mile if she gives me an inch. Foster mom says I have a great and fun personality and she loves me very much. She said it is very important she finds me a home with a strong, consistent and patient leader. I know if I have that for a family they will nurture the wonderful qualities I do have and help me be the best dog that I can be. I do have a barking issue in my crate that foster mom is working on I am doing my best at trying to over come that but it will take time. If you think I would be a good fit for you and you for me please fill out an application at www.tailsrescue.org I would love to meet you and find my forever home.
