Sunny's Story...
Sweet Sunny was being given away on a Facebook yard sale site. When we met the people giving her away we were horrified and disgusted to see that she was literally covered in flea's, flea bites and scabs from previous bites. Her coat was thinning in areas due to excessive scratching. She needs a little warm up time to be sure your not going to hurt her, but she does warm up fast. Especially if you have treats. LOL Sunny can be dog selective. You've got to meet this beauty to appreciate her. Sunny is current on her vaccines, spayed and microchipped. She is on monthly hear worm and flea prevention. Sunny is now 10 months old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sunny, a Woodstock Whippet/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Whippet/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Woodstock, or seeking a Whippet/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Woodstock.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woodstock already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woodstock breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Whippet/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Whippet/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woodstock paves the way for another one to be saved.
