Hi, friends! My name is Darius. I am an almost year old chocolate lab mix, with the cutest face! (My Foster Mommy made me say that, so it's probably true. She is a wise lady.) I am crate trained, and housetrained, AND leash trained! Although, sometimes I get excited and pull a little. But not too bad!
So, ok, confession time: My life didn't start out so great. I was found tied to a tree. I dont know how long I was there, but I know it must have been way, way past dinner time -probably past lots of breakfasts and lunches, too- because I was SO hungry. And my back hurt pretty bad. I heard there was some acid thrown on me, but I don't know why. I DO know that I am doing so much better!! And I still am so eager to give and receive love. I love a lot of things! I LOVE to cuddle. I love to play- Fommy says I'm so gentle with her smaller doggies! I love to eat! I think ice cubes are an awesome treat. And I love long walks.
Really, I love love!! But, I'm a shy guy. I try not to be, but I'm still recovering from my rough start. It takes me a little time to warm up to men, and some ladies, BUT I always warm up! I will always want to know you, and I promise to love you with everything I got, from my snuffly nose to my waggly tail. And everything in between! Especially my huge heart :)
Please put your apps in today! You are missing out on some seriously awesome cuddle time!!
