Poor scared Freya. This girl came into us just a petrified little thing with her litter of pups. Her litter of pups are all weaned and finding their own homes and now it is Freya's turn to do the same. She will need an extremely special home. Freya is petrified of new people and new places, and new sounds. She needs an extremely quiet home with another dog in it who will help her build her confidence. Ms. Freya has been improving by small increments at her foster home but she still has a far far way to go. Freya's favorite thing to do is hide in her safe place where she can be away from all of the noise and the bustle of the household. For the first month she was with her foster she would not leave from that spot and had to have her food and water brought to her. She will now leave the spot for feeding time but still will retreat there given the smallest reason. Freya is absolutely petrified of outside. When brought outside she completely shuts down and will not move. She gets to scared to do her potty time outside and ends up holding it until she gets into the house. This poor girl needs a home that will very patiently work through these issues with her and that will understand she will most likely never be the outgoing happy go lucky dog. Are you that special home? Please note we do not have a central kennel facility, all of our pets are located in foster homes. The first step in meeting one of our furry friends is to fill out an application on our website at . A volunteer will be in contact with you in 1-2 business days to review your application and speak with you about the adoption process.

About Rainbow Rescues Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

Rainbow Rescues Inc is a non-profit 501(c)3 rescue based out of Massachusetts. We
are a team of loving volunteers who are attempting to make the world better one pet
adoption at a time. All of our animals are placed in foster homes. We do
not keep any of our animals at a central
location. We are committed to finding the right home for our rescued animals and
educating the public on animal welfare and animal issues.

Rainbow Rescues Inc is a volunteer run agency created to help find homes for
surrendered, abandoned, abused, homeless, unwanted or neglected animals. We
accept all animals except for large livestock, though we will provide referral services for
livestock surrenders. Each animal surrendered to our agency is evaluated for health and
temperament issues, vaccinated, and altered. We charge a small adoption donation for
our animals which helps to cover the medical treatment for the animals and all of the
provisions needed for our foster homes. Please realize that no one affiliated with this
rescue receives any type of compensation except for a lot of good feelings. 100% of the
adoption donations and 100% of all other donations are used strictly for the animals.

Our Adoption Process...

Should you be interested in one of our furry friends the first step is to visit our website and fill out an application. We will review your application, process your application, and contact you for any needed information. Once we have processed your application we will bring you to one of our locations for a meet and greet with your prospective new pet. If you and the pet are a fit we will then bring the pet to your home to conduct a home visit/inspection. If the pet is a fit with your family and lifestyle we will be turning over custody of the pet to you after the review and completion of our Adoption Agreement Document.

Rainbow Rescues Inc asks for a small
donation/fee for pet adoption. Most animals that are surrendered to us require some type of veterinary treatment whether it be shots, spay/neuter, or just an all around check-up. To off set these costs and to provide for future surrenders we must ask for a small adoption donation/fee for our animals.

Adult Dogs-$250 for dogs
