Hi my name is Ziggy!
I am an adorable three year old Labrador/Shepherd mix weighing 45 pounds with a stunning soft and dense white coat like a Labrador.
I am a very active young dog in my very best years and there is nothing more that I love than playing ball. That’s my favorite thing. I will bring the ball right back to you so you can through it again and again and again.
I walk very nicely on the leash and have learned to walk right on your side and to follow you and to always pay attention to you during our walks. I am a very smart guy and I really just want to please you. I have been told that I am an astonishing quick learner. My obedience trainer says I have come a long way and am doing so well! And everybody always tells me how proud they are of me.
I am also very affectionate which brings me to my second favorite thing in the world: belly rubs! I love to get my belly rubbed! And to snuggle with you! On your lab, next to on the couch, or on your feet: you tell me. I am quite the affectionate guy and can be silly and cute at the same time, as you can see from my pictures.
In the home I am very calm and very respectful with both, your shoes as well as my toys. I love to chew my toys and keep myself busy, but do not destroy them. I am also house trained and never have accidents.
I would do best as a one and only pet with an experienced dog owner who will keep up with my training. Since I have been through so much lately, my rescuers think my reintroduction to a home life should preferably be out of the city where there is not so much noise and distraction.

I am neutered, am up to date on all my shots and even have a microchip.
