Thor and Iron Man's Story...
Thor and Iron Man are quite the duo that arrived at the shelter as neonatal kittens needing a foster. These brothers were left in a box on the side of the highway, and definitely needed medical attention on arrival. Both boys were placed in a loving foster home where they received the socialization and love they needed to thrive. Thor (Grey and white) is the adventurous little one that always stuck his whole face in the food bowl, while Iron Man (Black and White long hair) was slightly more laid back and attention-seeking from people. Both boys are loved imensely but deserve to be in a fur-ever home. Both brothers are neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. It is $65 to adopt each kitten for approved applications. Fill out an application at www.al-van.org to take one of these incredible kittens today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor and Iron Man, a South Haven Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in South Haven, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in South Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in South Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a South Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in South Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
