Zoey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Zoey's Story...
Zoey is a beautiful and affectionate 7 1/2 year old Retriever mix that is looking for a new leash on life!! She is a medium sized dog, only around 35-40lbs. She is pretty gentle, and would be great for people of all ages! Zoey has been used to being a couch potato, and would love to curl up next to you for your favorite tv show! She does well with other dogs, but may prefer a more calm and easy-going canine companion in her home. She loves people of all ages, LOVES her Beggin' Strips, and would love a nice yard to play in too. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Come and meet her today at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook. We are open daily from 12-6pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Benbrook Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
