Finbar is a male Shih Tzu mix only 2 years old. He has been professionally groomed and has gorgeous coloring of burnished copper with lighter cream on his legs and black markings around his face. He is a smaller boy, weighing 12 pounds full grown. Finbar is a wonderful mixture of lively dog who loves to romp around and go for walks and then quieter mellow pooch inside the home. He is young and has a nice amount of energy for daily outings and activities or playtime with the kids. When its time to settle down, Finbar has no problem taking a nap nearby his people or cuddling on the couch. He appears to be quite an athletic, coordinated little guy and would do well in a home with a secure yard and maybe a younger family that likes to go places and do things. He would enjoy trips to the park or beach and would probably excel at dog obedience or even agility since he is so quick and smart. Finbar rides quietly in the car and is a wonderful co-pilot and companion on trips and errands. He is good with other dogs but does not appear to need another dog in the home to feel secure. Finbar is gentle and sweet with children and likes attention. He's an affectionate little dog that will quickly become integrated into your family life. Finbar was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was brought in stray. He is going to make an outstanding, fun little lovebug for some lucky person or family! Finbar is very healthy and ready for his new forever home today.
Finbar’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
Finbar is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.
