Loni's Story...
Hi! I am a very energetic, happy puppy from a litter of 6 puppies who are very different! I am definitely part German Shepherd and I have a brother who looks like me, but my other siblings are very different. We are all cute! I am learning basic commands and puppy behavior, and am getting pretty good at using a potty pad but not quite potty-trained yet. I will need some help with that..I love chew toys, stuffed animals, other dogs, and LOVE playing in the water.

I have my own puppy pool! I have been around kitties, but think they're too hard to figure out and I would rather play with the other dogs. My foster mom is working on crate training with me, but I'm not a big fan so it might take a little more work.

I think I would do best in a home with another dog(s), and maybe some older kids to play with me and keep me company. Wouldn't you like to stop by and see how cute I am?

Mom was a smaller (35 pound) Aussie mix who was very social with dogs and people. Dad was unknown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loni, a Gilbert German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
