Trout Lily's Story...
I'm one of the Lily Transport!
In 2014 Joyful Rescues returned from Tennessee with a little dog they called Fuzzy. One look at her photo and we knew she was "the one". Every day with this happy pup, now named Lily, reminds us of the tremendous gift Joyful Rescues gave us by saving her life. So we dedicate this transport to Lily so that she, along with us, can "pay it forward" giving more beautiful animals a chance at a happy life. Sincerely The Artful Gardener (727 Mt. Hope Ave., Rochester, NY)
These adorable puppies were born about April 16, 2016 and we "feel" they may top out in the 40-45# range. Truly, please understand we are REALLY guessing at breed and ultimate weight as we have no clue what the parents were. So, if you are looking for something specific these puppies are not for you. A few of them have some Beagle characteristics while others look Shepherdy or Aussie'ish and little Trout here has a rather wide face so maybe there is a touch of Pit in there. We do know they are happy, fun, and funny pups that are looking for a home where they'll never end up homeless again. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $325.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
