Lady was an owner surrender because the family did not have a yard for her to exercise and keep busy. They actually had her tied outside. During this time, she developed an aversion to men. We believe a young boy was mean to her early in life; thus she is not trusting of men or boys. Therefore, we are looking for an all female home. We hope to get her some professional training to help with that mindset. To women, she is an extreme love bug.
Lady likes to play ball as long as she doesn't have to compete to retrieve the ball. She needs to continue her basic obedience and leash training. She weighs approx. 30 lbs.
Lady is already spay, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm, tick and Lyme diseases. She is NOT good with cats, At this point, she should only go to a home with female children over the age of 12 years.
Lady's adoption fee is $250 which helps us purchase food and medical care for other dogs in our rescue. Our process includes an application (upon request), and interview, home visit and meet & greet. We also do a two week trial with all of our dogs. The adoption fee will be refunded within that two weeks should you feel Lady is not a right match for you or your family.
