Bailey is a beautiful girl who found herself at a shelter when her human family suffered a horrible tragedy. She has been well-loved and cared for but now needs to find a new home. Bailey is very friendly and affectionate. She bonds with her humans quickly and is going to make someone a fabulous companion. She is smart and mindful, a quick learner and so very eager to please. Bailey has fabulous house manners. She is calm and quiet, crate-trained and housebroken. Bailey walks wonderfully on lead and would love a dad or mom that enjoys walks at the park or on the trail. She does well with other dogs but does not care for our cats. We have not seen her with children but she does have a gentle, loving personality, so we think she should do ok with them. All family members, including any other dogs, should come to the adoption center for the meet and greet. We want to be sure it's a good fit for everyone. Bailey is 4 years old and weighs 31 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. She has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
