Nick's Story...
NIck is a 10 month old Dachshunbd. We do blieve he is mixed with Basset hound. Even though he looks just like a Dachshuhund, he is 3 times the size of one. He weighs 40 lbs.

NIck is an amazing traveling companion. He loves to ride in the car and settles right in. He loves to nipple on a towel he snuggles with.

Just an amazing boy.

He was rescued from Cobb County Animal Control where he was impounded as a stray.

HIs adoption fee is $ 250 which includes all his vaccines, heartworm test and micro chip.

Since our organization is operating on foster homes only we are not available to the public. Please send us an a mail to receive an application. We are meeting with pre approved adopters by appointment only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nick, a Lawrenceville Dachshund/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Basset Hound for sale in Lawrenceville, or seeking a Dachshund/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Lawrenceville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lawrenceville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lawrenceville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Basset Hound breeders who help with Dachshund/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lawrenceville paves the way for another one to be saved.
