Facts about Dalia

  • Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 9671945
  • Hair: Medium

Dalia is a gorgeous, playful, adventuress, long-haired, declawed  tortoiseshell. You will always find her up high on her cat tree and she really enjoys her scratching post. Dalia can be with other cats but she is particular. Her hair is medium in length which is unique for a tortie. Dalia would do best with older kids and with an owner who knows and understands cats. She likes attention and loves to be pet but if she is over stimulated she will definitely let you know. She is perfectly fine if you let her take the lead.

7/16/16: Dalia was recently returned to OPA. She is a wonderful cat, but after her previous owner tried for a couple months to integrate her into her family: her & her husband & two other torties, it has been determined, Dalia would be better off in a single pet environment. Torties are known to have "catitude" & sometimes can be loners. This is the case with Dalia when it comes to other pets: "there can only be one." She loves high perches & scratching posts (although she is declawed, not by OPA). She demands her attention & will let you know when she is overstimulated or needs some alone time. Dalia is in a tent of her own right now & seems fine. She's covered by towels, so any of the foster kitties & our kitties don't bother her while they are walking around. Please make Dalia's wishes come true of finding a forever home.
