EDDIE's Info...

EDDIE's Story...

Eddie is a beautiful 3 year old neutered black and white Shih Tzu boy. Eddie is an independent boy who loves praise and does not require a lot of attention. Eddie is not much for cuddling but you can count on him being nearby when you are sitting down. He takes some warming up upon introduction and a treat will likely win him over anytime!

He is best not to be around young children. He had a difficult upbringing in a household with children and while we do not know exactly what happened to Eddie, it clearly caused him to be wary of people. He slowly has learned that people are not bad and not there to harm him.

Eddie needs to be adopted by someone local and not too far from his foster who also has worked with him in case he needs any follow up work with his behavior. Eddie is just one handsome boy who is so ready to find his forever family.

Eddie's adoption fee is 350.00 which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, house and leash training and professional groom

Why Adoption is a Great Option

EDDIE, a Phoenix Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
