Jacinda's Story...
I am a Shelter Pull Kitty! This means that when you adopt me, FOF can save another kitty from a high kill county shelter.'

Jacinda's Story....Jacinda's life up until a month ago was pretty bad. She was a victim of cat hoarding, which most the time is even worse than death. Fortunately, the cats were claimed by animal control or voluntarily surrendered (we aren't sure which) and landed at Calhoun County Animal Control. Thanks again to our SPK (shelter pull kitty) program, Jacinda and 3 others were pulled out to safety. They each had health issues, Jacinda's were severe. At just under 5 pounds, she was infested with fleas, earmites, and was also anemic. Without treatment for these parasites, cats can die. We bathed her and treated the flea and mite infestations. She was severely dehydrated and needed sub a fluids. But with these simple measures, Jacinda was already feeling better within days. We are thrilled to report that this lovely girl had now been fully vetted and is ready for her new life to begin! Jacinda's teeth are somewhat worse for wear so we are not sure if she is actually an older cat, or if the extremely inadequate food source in the hoarder's home has caused her to appear older than she really is. Jacinda is estimated to be 3-5 years old, long hair orange, fully vetted, and a FULLY LOVEABLE GIRL! Everything she has endured has not dampened her spirit one bit! Please share so she can find her forever home!
