Wilma's Story...
Flintstones…meet the Flintstones! Hi there(waving), my name is Wilma and Im part of the "flintstones" litter of kittens. The 5 of us and our mama were living inside until the person decided she no longer wanted us. She threatened to dump us in the woods where we would be eaten if no one took us that day, thankfully st francis had room for us! My foster mama says Im full of myself. I will have you laughing all day with my crazy antics, I run, leap, and jump to catch the wand toy. One day Ill catch that pesky red dot too….just watch me! Once playtime is done Im ready for love and snuggles, are you looking for a kitty like me? I sure hope so. I also hope my forever family has room in their home and heart for two of us. If not hopefully theres another kitty at home who needs a buddy. love, Wilma

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wilma, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
