MEET ROXY 4!! **Please Note: This is a courtesy post for another rescue; different adoption fees/policy apply.
Roxy is sure she is a lap dog! She loves car rides and enjoys lounging around on the sofa. She sleeps in a crate covered with towels for privacy and uses a big comfy pillow. Roxy is very eager to please you, and takes what you say or do strongly. She is a lovely, quiet soul!
Roxy is skittish and timid around new people, but once she gets to know you she loves you to pieces! Roxy likes to go on long walks and then come home and lie on the couch and take a nice, long nap. She gets along well with children, but is unsure of toddlers when they are noisy.
Roxy really enjoys rope toys and bones and the occasional plush toy. She doesn't like loud noises or thunder, and will come to you for reassurance and a cuddle. Roxy has done well with dogs that are a little more laid back than her as she's matured because she prefers to lounge around now, rather than play. When she does play, she loves tug-of-war with a rope toy.
Roxy has skin allergies that require her to take Prednisone (10 mg a day). She gets very itchy without it. She also is on a grain-free food from Costco to help with inflammation as well. Those little bumps on her noggin are not cancerous; there hasn't been money to get them removed.
