Gorgeous Gordie! This brawny, handsome guy is an eager-to-please, totally people-oriented canine who will form deep bonds with loving family members who include him in daily activities and reciprocate the warmth and devotion he offers. Not only strikingly in his good looks, but also loyal, sweet, happy-to-be-around, fun-loving, and pretty warm-hearted, too, Gordie is a social and amiable dog who is, heart and soul, as earnest as they come.
Straight-up an extremely affectionate, people-loving dog who craves human companionship and close contact, Gordie is a committed snuggler who readily gives kisses when asked, he lives to please his people, and he thrives with praise for accomplishment. Highly intelligent and easy to train, this outstanding, pack-oriented dog is looking for family members worthy of his trust and faithful devotion and wanting to reciprocate the same.
Casually relaxed, polite, and mostly mellow, Gordie takes things in stride and is not easily perturbed. Steadfast and genuinely good-natured, Gordie’s success lies in a responsible, caring owner who provides leadership and keeps him well socialized by providing safe opportunities for him to meet new people and master new activities and situations.
An animated, lively, interested, and inquisitive boy, Gordie needs regular physical activity and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy. His exercise needs though are not very demanding and can be met with regular leashed walks, interactive play sessions, obedience training, and adventurous outings alongside his much-adored family members. Gordie will also really enjoy a securely, enclosed area where he can romp and explore to his hearts contents, and he will definitely excel in obedience.
Loyal, loving, and entirely devoted to his people, Gordie is one terrific dog eagerly waiting for his forever family to come take him home.
Gordie is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a moderately-active lifestyle. While we think he’ll get along well with a compatible, similar-sized dog he has been properly introduced to, particularly one of the opposite-sex, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption. Gordie’s also comfortable and been well-mannered around children of all ages, and he’ll do well in just about any home where children and pets alike are taught to respect boundaries and interaction is monitored as it should be.
