Felix's Story...
Felix is a tall, leggy boy that is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and hasn't met a toy he didn't like. Felix loves attention and will snuggle on your shoulder to be carried. He is also happiest if he gets to curl up on the bed with you at night. He is the most adventurous of his siblings and is the first to check out new spaces. Felix has some bad food allergies and will need a strict diet in his new home. He will not be able to get any treats and will need to be kept away from other food but he does very well on his special, hydrolyzed protein food. If you a little extra effort to help keep him happy and healthy, Felix will repay you in spades with him sweet and playful nature! You can meet Felix at Petsmart in Manhattan!

All kitties go to their new owners spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and are negative for FIV/FeLV. The adoption fee is $100. If you are interested in adoption or have any questions, please contact info@rchsks.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felix, a Manhattan Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Manhattan, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Manhattan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manhattan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manhattan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manhattan paves the way for another one to be saved.
