My name is Otis!

Great Dane Dog for adoption in Plymouth, Michigan - Otis

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Otis's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Otis's Story...
The first step to the adoption process is the application. Please fill one out completely and submit. We need to have an applicant approved before we give out additional information on the dog and the number of the foster home.

My name is Otis and I am a 4 year old Fawn Boy. Aren’t I handsome? My foster mom says I’m a good boy but will require a family that will love me TONS and help me work on my manners.

I will require more obedience training to ease introductions and socialization as I sometimes jump up and pull when stimulated. I just get a little over excited sometimes with life! Isn’t life exciting?? My foster mom is working with me but my forever family will need to spend time working with me as well.

I am very vocal when I play with my foster siblings. I play a little rough too. Although I’m 4 years old, I’m still learning. I’m just looking for that perfect family to love me and guide me.

I’ve only been with my foster mom for a few weeks so we are still learning one another. I will chat more about my progress soon!

Thank you for reading my post. If you think we are the perfect match, please send in those apps!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Otis, a Plymouth Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Plymouth, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Plymouth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plymouth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plymouth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plymouth paves the way for another one to be saved.
