Carter's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Carter's Story...
Carter recently arrived from a county shelter where he'd surely have been euthanized except for our intervention. Carter has a condition called epulis, a congenital non-cancerous gum tumor - which we will have surgically removed by a specialist . Please do sponsor him through Petfinder as this is a costly surgery. He's probably never known what it's like to live without mouth discomfort. He's a truly nice, gentle, sweet-tempered boy. He loves balls!epulis can be removed. UPDATE: Carter is going to have the epulis surgically removed on 8/22/16 and then Carter will be ready to be placed!! This is NOT something that will cause Carter any trouble in the future or ever come back :-). Carter now treats the specialist's office like his home away from home and Dr Tsagawa like one of his best friends! ;-)
More info :-D - Carter is VERY good "car riding" dog. He is calm and enjoys car rides. When taking treats, Carter has a soft, gentle mouth and is very polite. He is also very social and open to meeting new people and dogs both large and small. Carter will fast become a member of your family which he so deserves :-).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carter, a Sun Valley Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Sun Valley, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Sun Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sun Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sun Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sun Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
