She is skittish right now since she is in a totally new situation. Has been spayed, microchipped, feline leukemia tested negative and up to date on vaccinations.

Fur a Good Paws is a donation-based 501(c)(3) non-profit in Clay County, Illinois.

As a small group of local citizens, we.....
-- operate a small no-kill rescue and adopt pets out to forever homes,
-- increase awareness about the importance of spaying/neutering,

Our adoptable pets are cared for at our Rescue Center in Flora licensed by the state of Illinois. You can meet our pets by appointment by calling Trudy at 618-599-7830 or Lou Ann at 618-780-9302.

Our Adoption Process...

Potential adopters can fill out a two-page adoption application form available on our website

All our pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for heartworm/feline leukemia, and vaccinated for rabies/canine distemper/feline distemper before adoption.

If a pet is too young of age to be spayed/neutered at the time of adoption, the pet adopter must sign an agreement that they will spay/neuter the pet and microchip it by age six months.

Adoption fees are:
$75 and upwards for dogs
$35 and upwards for cats/kittens.
