Dash's Story...
Dash is quite dashing with his cool white question mark on his face & tuxedo markings on his body. He is part of a litter of black kittens with varied amounts of white. Handsome Dash has more white than Pinch & lots more than Smidgen. The three boys are very close in personality. Dash has turned out to be the smallest & calmest. He & his two brothers were brought to Bedford Humane Society by a kind-hearted lady who worried the wild mom would take the boys into the woods & they might not survive. She handled them & cared for them from the time they were tiny. They are very sweet & healthy. We think they were born about mid-March, 2016. Dash plays well with his brothers. They are afraid of dogs, but could learn to live with gentle dogs. He is vaccinated appropriate to his age, dewormed, treated for ear mites, & tested for FeLV & FIV. Dash will be neutered by early August. To meet this handsome & sweet boy, call 540/586-6100 or complete an Adoption Application at bhsva.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dash, a Bedford Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
