I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Honey's Story...
Honey is an approximately 7 year old female smooth coat Saint Bernard that was an owner surrender when the landlord said she was one too many. She has excellent indoor manners and loves people of all sizes. She can be choosy about her canine companions however and seems to be better with smaller dogs than she is with large dogs, but previously lived with a Golden Retriever, a small dog and a cat. She needs some leash work, but otherwise is a really nice dog that will make some family a wonderful companion. If you are interested in adopting Honey, please fill out and submit an adoption application from our web site at www.sunnysaints.org and you will be contacted shortly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Bellflower St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
