Rita's Story...
Our dogs are fostered/located in NC and VA until they are adopted. No matter what location you find our pet listed it still means they are in NC or VA. We have locations for delivery in many Northeastern states.

This pup was surrendered to a local kill shelter. We got the call to help because of our fondness of the cattle dog breeds. This pup was born to an Australian Cattle Dog and the dad was a beagle. This pup was born 5-15-16. This pup should mature around 25-35 pounds depending on which parent the pup takes after. This baby is great with other dogs and cats. This pup is wonderful with people.

This pup is current on shots and deworming. This pup is current on flea prevention and microchipped. This pup will receive a complete physical and a certificate of health from our vet no more than 48 hrs prior to going home.

We require a pre screen application to apply. you can get that on our main website www.saveamuttkennel.info.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rita, a Burlington Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
