Introducing Alice. Alice is a friendly but shy girl who gets along well with other dogs and cats. She would do great with a family that can give her plenty of attention and positive reinforcement to help continue growing her confidence. She will truly blossom in time. As with many rescues, it's hard to determine her exact breed....maybe some shepherd? perhaps some basenji? Maybe some terrier? She's on the petite side at only 27 lbs. Her estimated year of birth is 2014. How wonderful it would be for Alice to have a home and family to call her own. If you are that special someone, please contact RickyC68@aol.com and please include a phone number where you can be reached. Thank you.

About Smiling Dog Farms Wharton Texas

About Our Rescue Group...

Smiling Dog Farms is a sanctuary for the forgotten, neglected and rejected. Our dogs come from shelters and rescues all across America. They may be “unadoptable” because they have bitten someone, have medical issues, or have other behavior challenges.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We partner with other rescues in several locations. Please email adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org for more information on an SDF adoption event near you.

Our Adoption Process...

Most of the dogs that come to our Sanctuary have had a scary background of being left to die in animal shelters across the country. Understandably, we are very careful in our approving our adoptions as we are dedicated to ensuring that this dogs truly go to a "forever" home. As a result, our process is stringent, requiring an application, home visit, vet and reference checks and an adoption contract. We want the adoption to be a match made in heaven for both the new adoptive parents and the adopted dog.
