Meet Molly! This sweet girl came from stressful, overcrowded conditions at an old dairy farm out in the country where people just drop off unwanted cats and drive away. The woman who lived there tried her best to care for the cats, using her own money to feed, spay/neuter, and build a shelter for them; but the numbers overwhelmed her and she asked AC PAW for help. Molly was picked on by several other cats and driven to a high shelf to avoid them. When AC PAW rescued her in April and put her in a foster home, Molly's ears were misshapen by mites and injuries, her coat was dull and flaked with dry skin, and her expression was terrified and miserable.

With time and patience. Molly has become a sweet cat who no longer slinks about in fear, likes to be petted, and is amazingly playful. She loves to bat toys and chase them around the house. Molly gets along with other cats in her foster home.

Molly has some distinctive features - her ears are still misshapen, but this just gives her head a rather streamlined look. Her voice is just a barely audible creak. One one side her whiskers are white and the other side's are black. She snores too! Molly is a good cat who deserves a loving home and a better life than what she has had in her past. If you want to make that happen, please contact us or fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire.

About AC PAW

About Our Rescue Group...

AC PAW started as a vision of two people, Brian Manley and June McGrath, to ensure a safe haven for animals from abuse, hunger, disease and death. AC PAW was founded to give the animals in the five-county Grand Traverse Area of Northern Michigan a second chance at life.

We are officially in our 20th year of volunteer service and work with a handful of dedicated volunteers and a small number of donors. AC PAW began on July 1, 1995 and was officially incorporated on Jan 16, 1996. During this time we have rescued and placed nearly 10,000 dogs and cats into loving homes.

We are always looking for animal lovers willing to put some time and effort into volunteering or becoming a foster home. Any kind of donations (financial support or pet supplies) are greatly appreciated.
