Hi, my name is Sissy and I was surrendered to All Dog Rescue after nursing a littler of puppies who found homes through another rescue group. I am now spayed and ready to find a family who will love me. I am 3 years old, 42 pounds, and my foster mom thinks I am the sweetest dog ever. I am very social and love humans and other dogs of all sizes. I am currently living with another dog and would be quite happy being a second dog, but it might be even better getting all the attention myself and having regular play dates with other dogs. I love going on walks but some additional training will help me learn not to pull so much when I get excited at the sight of a rabbit or a new dog who could be my friend. Obedience training will also help me build confidence. I am food motivated but my feelings get hurt very easily. When I hear loud voices, I think I have done something wrong. I am potty trained and spend the work day in a crate since otherwise I get anxious and cause trouble. I would make a good running or biking partner, and I am also a terrific snuggling partner. I enjoy being active, but my foster mom would describe me as a calm, companionable dog too. I might accidentally knock over small children by being too silly, but with some training I will be a great dog to take everywhere! I promise to steal your heart if you meet me.

Sissy's adoption fee is $200, which includes vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations and tests, microchip, and spay/neuter. Please note that we only accept cash or checks - no credit cards.

About All Dog Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

All Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster home based rescue organization. We do not have a shelter and do not have any paid staff. Our dogs live in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their new forever homes. We offer a lifetime commitment to the dogs in our program. All of our dogs receive comprehensive vet work prior to adoption, including exam, vaccinations, microchip, HW/Lyme's test, fecal exam, and all are spayed and/or neutered. We do it because we love dogs, and with 4 million animals being euthanized every year in shelters around the country, the numbers of dogs needing our help is endless.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We hold public adoptions twice per month, and are often able to meet prospective families outside the events if need be.

Our Adoption Process...

The applicant must fill out a detailed adoption application (it is on our website), then is screened by an experienced volunteer. We charge adoption fees that are comparable to those of similar organizations in our area. The adoptive home must agree to and initial a list of regulations as well as complete a formal contract.
