My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Li Li is a beautiful and loving pekingnes, around 4 years old. She was dropped at animal control emaciated and dehydrated with very matted hair, that had to be shaved off. Li Li is an affectionate and happy girl, always ready for an adventure.. She is bossy with the other foster dogs and would be best suited in a home with a laid back, tolerant male dog, or as an only dog getting all of the attention. Li Li enjoys being picked up and carried, she likes car rides, short walks and she loves to cuddle. She is house trained and walks well on a leash. Li Li 's adoption fee is $275.

Like most pekingnese LiLi is not an ideal dog for families with small children. We expect Li Li to be around 10 pounds when she gets to her ideal weight. For more information and an adoption application please contact 1dogrescue@gmail.com. Once approved we can make arrangements to meet Li Li in the foster home.

All our dogs live in foster homes. Please contact the foster home email listed for more information and and an adoption application. Please note, our adoptions are not done on a "first come first serve" basis. We are looking for the best possible match for our dogs and reserve the right to select or refuse an application at our discretion. CAN is a 100% volunteer-based rescue and all our volunteers have jobs, families and dogs to take care of. Thank you for your patience and understanding if we don't get back to you immediately.
