Arrival story: We received a call that someone found a nice dog who was roaming the neighborhood. After a thorough search, Buddy's family was not found, so Waggin' Tails took Buddy in and promised to find him a forever family.

Approximate age / weight: 8 years / 28 lbs.

Personality: Buddy is a sweet corgi/beagle mix. He has the body of a corgi with beagle coloring and beagle characteristics of a scent hound. It is best to keep him on a leash when not in a fenced yard, because he will want to run off to chase bunnies, squirrels, cats, etc.

Buddy is a bit of a ham, rolling over a lot for belly rubs and sleeping on his back with his legs in the air. He also has good house manners, goes easily in a crate, and rarely barks. He does enjoy playing with toys, going for walks and LOVES car rides.

Forever home: Buddy really likes hanging out with his people. He would enjoy a fenced yard and to live with a family who will take him for walks every day as his world revolves around taking in the sights and smells of nature.

Buddy does not like to be picked up or smothered with affection near his head, so a family with older children who can understand this is best for him.

Buddy can be selective about his dog friends and he is not a fan of cats.

If you think you can give this nice fella his forever home, please contact us. Buddy will be waiting!
