Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BUDDY is a 7 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 77 pounds. Buddy is a gorgeous boy with a big, blocky head. He is house trained and is used to free reign of the house. He is good when on leash and loves to go for walks. He knows the commands: sit, lay down, stay, paw and come. Buddy loves to run around and play outside. He loves to retrieve tennis balls and sticks. Buddy is good with other dogs. He used to live with 3 other dogs. He will bark at first, but then wants to go play with other dogs. From transporter: Buddy is a very handsome boy. He is such a love! He thinks he is a lap dog. He is a great car rider and enjoyed taking a nap on the way to the vet. Owner surrender due to losing their home and unable to care for him anymore. He is approved for kids 8+. More info soon!
Update: Buddy loves hanging out around the house and does a fantastic happy dance when it's time to go out for a walk. He's a vocal guy who will bark when he is excited (and during his happy dance!). He is enjoying the company of the resident lab (they mostly just hang out), and is a bit confused by the cat but has learned that it is okay to walk by him. He does well on the leash, and is house trained. He does not seem to know what to do with toys yet. He was not a fan of getting a bath but was compliant with it and some cheese got him through the experience. He is a total velcro dog and will follow you from room to room, ready to sleep on your feet or put his head in your lap. He has free range of the house and has not picked up anything inappropriate. He was okay the one time he was in the crate, but does not need it. He is a true gentleman.
