My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dallas is a dear, sweet, and very mellow boy who is happy just loafing around or lying under the car. He plays a little with a couple of his foster girlfriends but is not a big runner and seems to know nothing about toys. He does nicely with a three-legged male Chihuahua, but not sure about bigger male dogs or cats.

When he came into our rescue last year, he was not neutered and had some pretty ugly neck wounds (probably from a fight said the vet) which took weeks to heal and then it was discovered he had a totally torn ACL - which has been fixed.

He walks pretty well on a leash, is crate and house trained, and loves to go for car rides. He behaves very well around people and loves to just lay on the couch and watch TV with you He weighs about 45-50 lbs and might be three years old or so. He really is a beautiful dog.

If you would like a mellow new best friend and have a fenced yard, Dallas might just be a perfect partner. If so, please call Holly at 575-586-0784 and thanks for helping out a rescue!
