Cady's Story...
Cody's foster mama wrote her bio, and there's no better way to put it:

"Joy....that is the best way to describe her. She wakes up and greets you and the rest of the world with pure joy each day. As a foster family we have taken care of several beautiful dogs for Bullseye Rescue and have been so happy to see them move on to their forever homes. Cady is the first one that we have fallen in love with, and the best way we know to love her is to give her the leadership and support that she needs and to prepare her to move on to live her life as some lucky person's most perfect family member.

She deserves only the best -- someone who is willing to invest in her the way that she deserves. You must be willing to step in as her leader and be willing to give her direction and remain consistent, not because she has any bad behavior, but because she needs to know that you are present in her life. She will repay you two fold.

Cady lives with three boys, two cats and four other dogs -- including a Chihuahua! Cady lives well with all because we demand that all of our dogs and cats do the same. Cady loves our cats and would love nothing more than to play with them, but they would rather not, so she has learned to accommodate them. Cady is a star student with her training and walks perfectly on the leash whether using the prong collar or e-collar that she began training with a month ago. Just when I thought she couldn't get better, she surprises me again! She is sweet and loves to be next to her people and you will get a cold nose in the back of the knee often.

Cady is crate trained and house trained. She loves to chase a ball and will do so for hours if you are. She will also snuggle on the couch but can not help her self but jump up to greet the next person that enters the room as if she hasn't seen them for days. If you are willing to invest in Cady and think that you can provide her with the environment that she deserves please submit an application and come and meet you families most perfect companion."

Cady is about 2 years old and is a lean 55 lbs.

If you'd like to meet Cady, please fill out an application at and email Her adoption fee is $225 and requires an adoption application (, interview and meet n greet, personal and vet references, and a home check. Due to our small size, we're unable to adopt out of state (located in Atlanta, Georgia).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cady, a Atlanta Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
