Duke's Story...
This adorable old man is Duke, he is a twelve year old Beagle who is looking for a home where he can live out the rest of his days. Duke came to us after his owner passed away, Duke came to us with his friend Oscar who has already been adopted. Duke is now hoping he can find a home too. He is a sweet old man, who enjoys being around people and other dogs, although young pushy young dogs are a bit to much for him. Duke does okay with cats, but from time to time will go after them. He is a very low energy dog who would do just fine with a short walk a day. Duke may be old, but it doesn't mean he will love you any less. He makes a good cuddle buddy, and enjoys chilling on the couch while you watch Tv. He would be good for an older person who needs a dog to keep them company. Duke is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, house, leash, and crate trained. His adoption fee is $35, or free to anyone over the age of 65. If you would like to adopt Duke please send an email to or visit where you can find an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Corinne Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Corinne, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Corinne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corinne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corinne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corinne paves the way for another one to be saved.
