Hello, I am Oscar.
I'm a little guy, but make no mistake about it, I am a fully grown neutered man. No need to worry about potty training me or any of that other baby dog stuff! I am crate-trained, good on the leash, and I love to go in the car. See? I am full of grown-up abilities! I'm also on the smaller side, so I wouldn't mind living in your apartment with you as long as you were up for going to walks with me.
Not that I'm completely serious all the time. That would be a bit too boring. So I guess you could say that I have my silly side. I'm good at making people laugh. I like to drag my blankie around with me, because, doesn't everyone? I also like to carry my favorite toys around with me. After all, you never know when you might want to take a nap with your blankie or play with your toys. I'm fully prepared.
I must admit though, that I am a little bit shy when meeting new people and I really do need to live in a house without kids or cats, because all of that commotion is just a bit too much for me. That said, I do like other dogs, so a bit of doggy commotion is okay.
I'd really like to find myself a nice quiet home where I can feel trust and patience, and get lots and lots of doggy treats. Don't tell anyone, but I am highly food motivated! I am completely willing to learn whatever you want to teach me--as long as there are treats. No, but seriously, I'm super smart and I'm interested in learning new things.
In my dreams, I picture myself going home with an experienced adopter who is dog-savvy and willing to teach me new things. I imagine walks, car rides, and cuddling with me at the end of the day. It's such a lovely dream. I have a feeling that my new person is right around the corner. Please let it be you!
