Morrigan's Story...
I'm Morrigan, or Morri. I'm a sweetie and quite the mama's girl (my foster mama, that is, since I'm an orphan). When I get tuckered out from playing, I head straight to my foster mom's lap for snuggles. I like to play with my kitten siblings but also with my foster mom -- "mary mack" and belly rubs are my favorites. I'm very friendly to all the cats here in my foster home, but I love my siblings Nolan and Fiona the most. The only thing better than another cat to play with is a new human who will pet me and let me perch on their shoulder. There's a dog here, too, in my foster home, and I like him fine, but I can be a bit skittish towards strange dogs I don't know at first. I'm adorable and would make a wonderful addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morrigan, a Aldie Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Aldie, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Aldie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aldie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aldie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aldie paves the way for another one to be saved.
