Reggie's owner was placed in hospice care and this poor guy ended up at a kill shelter. He used to sleep every night in bed with his owner. He is a 25lb dog in a 40lb body so he will need to be on a very strict diet to loose all that extra "luv" around the middle. But he is a sweet and loving guy who just needs someone to help him become the biggest looser.
7/19/16-Reggie went to the vet today. They ran a thyroid test and came back negative. So beyond his weight, he's in decent health. He will need to loose 20-25lbs, which is at least half his body weight. He is on a special diet and we are going to try and take him swimming to help loose weight because at this time walking would put too much stress on his legs. He will go back for a check up in 2 weeks.
