Barney TG's Story...
This amazing boy is Barney, yes he really is amazing! This is not a crazy 100 miles an hour kind of kitten, this one very much enjoys being cuddled, he’ll wait patiently by your feet until you pick him up so he can have a lovely snuggle, then he’s happy. He still likes to play, and currently enjoys some (not too rough) games with his kitty friends. Barney will do great as an only cat, or will be happy to share a home with other cats. He’s going to be a big handsome boy when he grows up! Barney is looking for that special forever home where there’s lots of love. I think he would do better in a home without small children.

Barney has been neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia/fiv. He has also been given flea, and worm prevention.

To find out more about Barney, please go to and complete an adoption application. An adoption fee for a kitten is $75.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney TG, a Schertz Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Schertz, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Schertz.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schertz already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schertz breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schertz paves the way for another one to be saved.
