Sasha's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sasha's Story...
Sasha was adopted from the high kill shelter in 2004. She is currently 13 years old. The family kept her all these years in the back yard and never provided care for her. When she got old and having a hard time getting around, they dumped her back at the high kill shelter. ROLV pulled her and she is currently in a foster home where she is enjoying love, care and friendship with her foster family and fur foster brothers and sisters. She tries to keep up with the younger dogs. She lost the muscle mass in her head so her head is quite pointy. She has horrific teeth and she has a hard time getting around with her bad hips. But she is still always happy and wants to play. Sasha needs to be in a home that is calm with other doggies because she is fragile and if another big dog bumps her too hard, she might fall and hurt herself. She loves kids, people, everything. We don't know how she would do with cats. She saw cats before and acted as if she wanted to play with them. If you are interested in giving her a forever loving home, please contact ROLV. Home check is required and adoption fee is $100.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Las Vegas Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
