Age: 3 years

Sex: Neutered Male

Vaccinations: Current

Health: No known health concerns

Other Dogs: Yes

Cats: No

House Trained: Yes

Other Training: Nova knows basic obedience such as "sit" and "down" and walks ok on a gentle leader harness. He could use some more leash manners, and a refresher in basic obedience.

Nova is being fostered in Alamogordo NM.

Nova is an extremely energetic young husky who can't wait to find his forever home. He loves most other dogs and just wants to play, play, play. His play style is well suited to another young, rough and tumble type playmate. Nova would not do well with small animals or livestock, but would love an extremely active family who wants to go for long hikes, runs, or even some bikejoring! Despite his high energy level, he loves his snuggle time on the couch and will happily be your foot warmer in bed. Nova is housetrained and crate trained. Sometimes Nova likes to serenade you with his lovely singing voice to let you know he's there for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nova, a Alamogordo Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky for sale in Alamogordo, or seeking a Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Alamogordo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alamogordo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alamogordo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky breeders who help with Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alamogordo paves the way for another one to be saved.
