My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue. 1.5 yr old Husky mix. Contact twylasfriends@yahoo.com

Blue is a 1.5 year old all white Husky. Currently heart worm positive but on slow kill medication for it- should be negative next year. He is a very sweet and special dog. Super affectionate with all humans, adults and young kids alike. He is very gentle. He does pretty well with other dogs, but does the best with females, and older or smaller dogs. He is a little intimidated by bigger male dogs but has never been aggressive with one. A little skeptical of cats at first but gets used to them easily. He is house trained and will whine to let you know he needs to go out to potty. He is not crate trained. Does well on a leash- he is still learning to heel. Gets a bit of anxiety when humans are away, so would do best in a home where there is another dog or human who can let him out during the day. He is a very special dog but requires lots of attention. Needs a large fenced back yard, where he can run and play as he pleases. Someone who works very long days or an older/inactive person would not be ideal for him. Blue loves to go on walks and visit the dog park.

*****If you would like more information about the dog featured above, be sure to send a note to the "Contact Person." This is the person fostering the dog and they will be happy to answer any questions you have. Please don't just show up at Adoption Day expecting every dog to be there. We are limited by the number of volunteers who can help at each Adoption Day.
Also, in sending your note to the Contact Person, be sure to include information about yourself, family, home, yard, fence, other pets, work situation, and pet accommodations. This information will help us make the best match between you and one of our dogs***
