Sweet Elsa had a rough start in life and was let down several times by several people. She was severely burned on her private area as a young puppy. After coming to rescue and getting the treatment she needed she was adopted a few times and was not given the attention or time that she needed and now has lasting issues but has been with me as my foster for over a year and has come so far. She is a great dog and loves people very much. She is great with kids as well! She is house trained and crate trained and loves to cuddle. However she can be dog reactive and has been in training for her dog aggression and is doing so great. She does great with my dogs and fosters after she takes time to get use to them. Elsa would do best in a home as an only pet or with someone that can give her time to adjust to the existing pets and knows how to do proper dog introductions. Elsa can jump a six foot wooden fence so she must be monitored when in the backyard or needs an 8 foot fence. I keep her on a long line (just a really long leash) in the backyard so she cants jump my fence. I would highly recommend this for her. Elsa is about 3.5 years old now and weighs about 50 lbs. She is so sweet and does not deserve anything that life has dealt her. She needs a true forever home that will love her as family and give her the attention and care she so deserves. If you are interested in giving a great forever home to this sweet girl please email me for an application at charmedfan0788@gmail.com

Come Meet Our Pets...

The Trinity GAP Club (Girls Awareness Program) is an all-girls club that functions through Trinity High School in Euless, TX. The mission of Trinity GAP Club is to give these high school girls a positive outlet for their time and to show them positive alternatives for their lives. One of their community service projects is volunteering with the Euless Animal Shelter and sponsoring as many animals as their funds allow to provide spay/neuter, shots, and other vetting costs for the pets. Adoption fees collected from sponsored pets recycle back into their program so they can continue to vet as many pets as possible. There are always unforeseen medical expenses so they do fund-raisers such as bake sales, t-shirt sales, tamale sales, etc. PLUS they have an annual "Pet Shower" and collect donations for OTHER rescues and shelters and in their spare time they host 2 annual events on campus, a Pet Fair and a Walk-a-Thon, to raise funds and promote adoptions for these homeless animals. They have made a huge difference in lowering the euthanasia rate of this shelter and it is a fact that many dogs and cats would not be alive today if not for their efforts. They have won many local and state awards!

Our Adoption Process...

Most animals that are adopted out through the Trinity GAP Club are done through fosters and the final decision is made by the animal's foster "parent", but we do sponsor animals at the Euless Animal Shelter, as well. All people interested in adopting an animal sponsored by the Trinity GAP Club must fill out our adoption form prior to adoption.
